Welcome to the Maidenhead & District Netball League

The Maidenhead & District Netball League (MDNL) was established in May 1971 and has been operating for over 40 years. The league started with just 4 teams but over the years it has expanded to 60 teams.

MDNL operate a serious adult league with teams and players required to be affiliated to England Netball in order to be eligible to play. All players must be 14 years or older.

The MDNL runs from September to March/April each year with games played on the following nights:-

  • Monday Nights: Premier Division & Division One

  • Tuesday Nights: Division Two & Division Three

  • Wednesday Nights: Division Four & Division Five

The games are 4 x 12 minute quarters starting at 7:30pm & 8:30pm.

New teams entering the MDNL will usually start in Division Five. However teams can request to enter at a higher Division but this is subject to Committee approval and space availability.

All teams wishing to enter MDNL must provide either a qualified umpire or trainee. Trainees will be required to umpire on a Wednesday night (this may differ to the night their team plays).

All teams are required to contribute towards annual court fees. Fees are usually issued to teams on the first night of the winter league with full payment required by the third league match.

All games are played at Kidwells Park, Maidenhead, opposite The Magnet Leisure Centre. Parking is available at the Magnet Leisure Centre.
